Objections Still Being Taken for Llandderfel and Llandrillo Turbine Plans.

There’s still time to object to two separate plans for turbines near Llandrillo and Llandderfel.
Gwynedd County Council is still accepting comments from those opposed to the plan to erect two 92.5m (303ft) wind turbines at Bodelith Isaf above Llandderfel.
These turbines would be higher than the three at Braich Ddu and would be clearly visible not only within the Upper Dee Valley, but also in Bala and from the Snowdonia National Park. The application number is C14/0291/04/LL and you can find details of the scheme and make your comments online by clicking on the link below.https://diogel.cyngor.gwynedd.gov.uk/…/wphappcriteria.displ…
There is also still time to object to plans to erect a 48m (157ft) wind turbine at Tyfos, right on the ridge of Mynydd Mynyllod at one of the highest points looking out over Llandrillo and Cynwyd. From certain positions there would then be a line of turbines along the mountain taking in the two at Syrior and the three at Braich Ddu. If the Bodelith and Tyfos schemes got the green light then there would be a total of eight turbines, of varying heights, blighting this once unspoilt skyline.
To see full details of the Tyfos scheme (planning reference 07/2015/0414) you need to go to the Denbighshire County Council website (link below) and put the planning reference into the search engine. You can object to the application there, too. https://www.denbighshire.gov.uk/…/search-and-comment-on-app…
More details of these schemes can be found in the articles below. If you need any help or advice as to how to put together an objection then STEMM can be contacted through a private message on our Facebook page.
